It also helps that, for many reasons, I'm confident he's going to love every minute of it.
One of those reasons? The fact that we had to tear him away from the Countdown to Kindergarten exhibit at the Boston Children's Museum. I can't blame him, look at all the fun he had.
A whole classroom to explore! |
Puzzles we don't have at home! |
Practicing my doodling skills! |
In three years, I'll be sending him off on one of these:

New baby! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteOh boy. I'm starting the hunt for preschools this fall so we can get on a never ending list for one of them out here. It's insane. But I too am looking forward to a little time in the morning to catch my breath. He also loves all the fun and socialization school can bring him (we found this out during his very brief stint in daycare). Big congrats on the new baby. A little alonetime with baby Arrow will be great bonding for you both.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing exhibit - it's no wonder he didn't want to leave! Congratulations on the new baby and on the Arrow's start at preschool - He's sure to love both school and being a big brother. Enjoy the precious time with your little ones - it seems like only a blink of an eye before they are in high school and talking about driver's licenses and universities.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great exhibit in the museum! You will so enjoy your time to yourself just as he will enjoy the peer interaction and school fun! I put Little S in preschool last year once a week. This year she is in PreK five days a week (the state of FL has a free program for all 4yo) and I have to admit it is downright glorious! Even though it is only 3h a day, I get so much done (errands, writing, cleaning) and in only the first week I have seen so many changes in her little self esteem, attitude and confidence!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun exhibit to introduce kids to the school atmosphere! It will be great for you to have some time for yourself and the little arrow.
