Not all pumpkins are orange.

I love that picture - I thought all pumpkins were orange too! We learned something on a trip to the pumpkin patch for school. That stem on the pumpkin is called a peduncle and I've gone my entire life without knowing that.
ReplyDeletecertainly a moment of looking like an arrow sent forth in that shot. something we learned: the first jack o lanterns were turnips and gourds, not pumpkins.
