Canyon Villas playground in Phoenix: A look back at 2010

Without a doubt, a true highlight of 2010 was our October trip to Phoenix. We stayed at the Canyon Villas, a Marriott property. One of my favorite features of this resort was its playground. Such a fun spot for the arrow to romp around a bit.

It had a unique look to it, very different from the playgrounds we see around Indiana. Clearly the resort was trying to ensure it blended in with the desert feel. It was certainly a hit with the arrow.

I've mentioned this kid LOVES animals, right?

  1. Looks like some cool rock formations, or was that part of the playground?

  2. What a cool playground! We love to find fun playgrounds when we travel. Our favorite was Mount Trashmore in Virginia...it was a park built on these gigantic hills made from compacted waste and soil.

  3. Canyon Villas looks like a great place for kids to play. It is pretty safe too.
